The Indian Forest Department looks after India’s remaining forests. Unfortunately, although it is one of the 3 civil services, it is highly ignored and underappreciated in comparison to the other 2.

Forest Guards and ground authorities work hard and long hours in remote places. There is a serious lack of infrastructure and facilities. PEF has partnered with Tiger Guards of India to provide basic infrastructure to these brave warriors. TGI supplies torches, cycles, vehicles, clothes, jackets and the likes to forest guards in Bandhavgarh. We hope to broaden this scope to encompass other protected areas as well.
