Tiger Guards India
Two wildlife enthusiasts, Rajvardhan Sharma and Deepak Talan initiated a conservation program in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in the summer of 2006. At that time they felt a strong need to fulfil those requirements of the forest department, which weren’t met by the annual budget of the reserve. These requirements they believed were essential as far as the safety of the tigers was concerned.
The objective of TGI is to donate equipment to the forest guards so as to encourage them to do their duties more diligently and thereby encourage anti-poaching activities.
PEF founder director Pooja R. Bhale and Rajvardhan Sharma have been friends for more than a decade. The cause at heart is the same and the collaboration mainly aims at creating awareness amongst different realms of people through various activities, workshops and presentations. PEF supports the work of TGI by networking and collaborating to achieve a higher degree of credibility towards potential donors and sponsors.
PEF also manages TGI’s virtual face. Please visit the website to know more about their work –
